The World Literacy Summit is a global literacy event held every 2 years in Oxford, United Kingdom. The Summit provides a central platform for collaboration, sharing of ideas and partnership amongst champions of literacy worldwide. The event gives attendees a greater insight into how individual countries, with different cultural backgrounds, are tackling their own literacy issues and allows for a more in-depth exploration into specific factors impacting upon literacy.
Oxford Declaration
The Oxford Declaration provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the literacy standards and enables all participants to voice their opinion. The living document features long-term solutions to the global literacy crisis. Participants are invited prior to and during the summit to contribute to the declaration.
